Group 935 Research Facility
The dimensions are fractured, and the universe is torn apart.
It was a quiet evening in the old, abandoned Group 935 facility. The facility was littered with the remains of some of the horrible yet very technologically advanced experiments performed by group. The total eclipse engulfed the sky above the facility, giving out a cold, dark, quiet, eerie vibe throughout the area. Add to the eerie vibe, it was snowing in mid-October.
A ball of electricity started appearing near the beacon and a bright light surged the outside terrace of the facility, when suddenly everything went quiet and the flashbang of the light disappeared. A dark figure was kneeling where the electricity was once was, and then he slowly lifted his head. Simon 'Ghost' Riley was feeling a bit nauseous from the teleportation, though he probably hadn't noticed that he had been teleported. He just needed to stabilize his spinning head before he could figure out his next move. The ticking of the big clock outside the facility was irritating him, but when he looked at it, the clock's hands weren't even moving.
Simon 'Ghost' Riley brushed the snow off his boots before he stood up. He looked around and found himself in what appeared to be a rundown factory to him. Flames engulfed partial areas in the factory, yet they seemed contained to their respective rooms. The numbers '935' were everywhere in sight: doors, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. He looked behind him and saw a massive panel on the elevated platform he was on. He walked over to the panel and tried to hit a couple buttons and switches, even pressing the massive red button on the panel, but it was no use. There was no power in the facility, or maybe there was but it was just shut off. He wasn't really fazed by the massive machine in front of the panel either, but the symbol on the machine raised some question in his mind. He took one last look at the ticking yet stopped clock before he walked down the steps in front of him.
