James Rupert Rhodes
On a mission, James was shot down over enemy territory. As luck would have it, he ran into none-other than Tony Stark, having just built the first Iron Man armor. After convincing Rhodey that they were on the same side, they managed to trek through enemy terrain, destroy a missile base, and escape in a helicopter.
It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship.
When Tony was building his suits, Rhodes managed to...erm...'procure' one of the Mk II armors. This was the beginning of the War Machine project. From there, Rhodey has managed to rub shoulders with many of the superheroes in the Marvel universe, and battled some of the baddest of the bad. Where there is a fight to save the Earth, War Machine will most certainly be on the front lines.

Appearance: Rhodey, as Tony and some of the ones closest to him call him, is just your normal human. Roughly 6'1" in height (outside of the armor), and weighing 240 lbs, Rhodes is not an imposing sight by any sense of the word, at least in a universe filled with super-powered good and bad guys. However, when he straps into the high-tech War Machine armor, he truly becomes a force to reckon with.
Special Abilities: None, save for the armor.
Weaknesses: Being a normal human, James is subject to the same kind of dangers any other human has to deal with.
Weapons and Equipment: War Machine armor-Constantly being changed and upgraded to handle the mission at hand.
