Loki released the creature, and it fled rapidly. Tidus himself wouldn't have been as forgiving, and probably would have executed the red and black monster, then and there. However, over the years, Tidus had also learned that Loki tended to be wiser than the teenage prince, and thus the prince would often defer to the Zabrak's judgment before acting.....at least in the situations that allowed for it.
Luckily for the monster fleeing into the desert, Loki had shown mercy.
Now, however, the two of them needed to figure out what to do. The Harvester...or possibly Harvesters now....were out there, searching for the pair. As good as they were at their jobs, it wouldn't take them long either. The rescue of Rhodes had used up the only ion burst grenade that Tidus had brought with him, so that trump card was now eliminated. With his saber not working as well, Prince Adasca was at a distinct disadvantage. Even Loki would be hard-pressed to defeat the venerable commander of the Harvester unit. There were many reasons that he had been chosen to lead the Arkanian military....his skill alone was leaps and bounds above any of the other recruits. But his intelligence was what made him dangerous. He was also a force sensitive, trained in several of the combat powers. The armor that the man wore was designed by Tidus as well, built to be able to take on massive groups of soldiers, and come out unscathed. This warrior was now hot on their trail.
Tidus turned to Loki, and the faceplate of the Reaper scout armor opened.
"We need to find a place to hole up for a while. I need time to get my suit up to snuff to fight that bastard that followed me. Right now? I don't think either of us could win. The Harvester armor in his hands? Its nigh unstoppable. I even put pockets of circulating ysalimir blood in parts of it to give it force resistance.
He's not going to stop, my friend."

"Maybe I can help with that." Rhodes' faceplate slid open with a solid 'clunk'. He took a couple of steps toward Loki and Tidus. "I'm sure that Tony will be having us all regroup at either Avengers tower, or the upstate facility. Why don't you guys tag along? I'm sure you have some information about how you got here that would be helpful. Besides, you guys helped us out with Carnage...and he's almost ALWAYS a pain in the ass."
It was true...the red and black symbiote had carved a path of mayhem through Rhodes' Earth several times. Each time, the mayhem grew, and the carnage was far greater. If these guys handled him with that kind of ease, perhaps it was best to get them on the right side...before they were seduced by any of the bad guys that happened to come through here as well.
Besides, he wanted to get a better look at both of their battlesuits. Maybe they had a way to deal with that heavy suit that had manhandled him earlier. At the very least, they might have insight as to what exactly was going on around here.
"What do you say? How's a hot meal, soft bed, and a comfortable rest sound?"

Tony had just recently occupied the couch moments before it was set to explode he had decided to doze off when Jack began to freak out. Then there was a fizzle and a pop and the fur literally flew. Tony was coughed in white couch stuffing from head to toe. He sat up eyes wide and spat out a piece of fluff that had landed in his mouth. His head slowly turned towards Jack murder in his eyes.
"God you are your father's child." Tony muttered angrily as he stood up and brushed himself off floof cascading everywhere. "I think it's high time we left..."
::Friday, is Happy here yet?:: Tony quizzed his A.I ::Affirmative sir, and two choppers are enroute to the hospital now to bring you all to the airport sir.:: Tony nodded to himself they'd be able to get Antonia to proper arrangements in New York. ::Rhodes, get everyone up to the roof, I got choppers inbound and Happy's waiting at the airport with the plane.:: Tony looked at the nurse. "I need her prepped for transport, and a nurse to come along, he or she will get two hundred thousand dollars for coming along and a flight back here, also here tell the hospital to charge me for the damages." He said and flung an AmEx black card at the woman before glaring at Jack again. "What the hell is Xavier teaching you kids? Couch explosions one oh one?" Tony quipped finally feeling like himself for a moment, his moment of quiet contemplation had been ruined by a floof attack by Mutie Junior here.

Tidus nodded in agreement. They could go with the others, and regroup. Perhaps they would be able to put together a reason for all of this....or even get a plan together to figure out how to combat it. Besides, the young man was about starving. This whole ordeal had started before he was even able to get his breakfast a couple days ago, and his stomach had been growling since last night.
The group began to exit the hospital as Tidus landed on the roof with Loki in tow. The pair of primitive rotor-wing aircraft landed shortly thereafter, and Tidus began to scan the horizon, straining to see any threats. Luckily, he saw nothing...for now.
Therein lie the problem.
Out of nowhere, the alarms in Tidus' earwick began to blare, his suit automatically closing around him. There were three incoming micromissiles, shot from about a half mile away, and coming in fast.
"EVERYONE!! GET DOWN!!!"
Tidus launched into the air, and flew at the incoming threat. A quick pair of bursts from his gauntlet repulsors erased the missiles from existence. However, they were merely a distraction. Out of the blue, a massive hulk materialized, flying at an extremely rapid clip. Before Tidus could even react, Harvester's right fist slammed into the side of his helmet, sending the young prince to the ground...hard.
Tidus slammed into the ground, sending debris, dirt, and blacktop into the air as he created a crater in the Las Vegas strip. Almost immediately, he was back up, and staring at his foe. This...this wasnt good. Opening a channel to Loki, he sent a message.
::Get the others out of here. I will keep this asshole busy. It's me he wants anyway. I'll catch up with you after, ok?::
Before he could even get an answer, Tidus closed the comlink. Hovering above the Prince about a hundred feet in the sky was the one who had been hunting him. The one who had executed his entire family...one by one. He was known by many names, but the very weapon system he was wearing had been named for him...
The Harvester.

Finally...he had him!!
The Prince looked like he was trying to get away with a group of these earthlings...and that kriffing Zabrak. While the one they called 'Loki' was indeed formidable, he was still on the Adascan leash. This was his weakness....he would do anything to protect his precious Prince. It would be so easy right now...He could sneak up on them, and fire a single heavy blast....taking -everyone- out down there. That, however, would be TOO easy. There would be no pride in the kill that way. Usually, it wouldn't matter...but this was vermin that needed extermination in the most painful, excruciating manner possible. Deciding instead to draw out the underling, he fired a pair of micromissiles out toward the group, fully knowing that the sensors in the suits would pick up the incoming projectiles. What surprised him, however, was who came up to meet the threat. Instead of it being the Zabrak lapdog, it was the Prince himself coming to the rescue of the Earthlings. That wasn't like him....he wasn't the hero type. Not only that, but he easily dispatched a pretty potent weapon with little effort.
Well, well, well....apparently Prince Adasca had been learning a few tricks from his bodyguard. Mattered little, though....Kid was gonna die, here and now.
With a burst of speed, the warrior burst forward, deactivating the active camo system...more for terror effect than anything else. He came at the young prince with a full head of steam, and grinned widely when he felt his right hand connect solidly, sending Tidus flying into the ground so hard that he created a crater. The impact shielding would keep him alive, no doubt....but it was more about feeling better about landing a solid blow on the one who had been causing him so much trouble. It was satisfying on so many levels.....
Intercepting the burst transmission, Iosef just shook his head. He could care less about the others right now. He could kill the Zabrak at his leisure after he dispatched his nephew.
Dropping to the ground about twenty feet away from Tidus, he opened his visor, and stared coldly at the youth.
"Brave of you to engage me without your protector, young Prince. Ill advised, but brave. I will be sure to put that in your epitaph after I flay you alive. You have caused me enough trouble...now be a good little boy, and just die like the rest of your pathetic family."

Anger flared in Tidus' face, the snarl unseen behind the visor of his Reaper scout armor. It was true....this monster had killed each and every one of his immediate family, or had been the root cause at the very least. This entire revolution was because of this man's pride. He wanted the throne, but because it was his sister sitting upon it, he couldn't get his claws in. Anger....rage....pure hatred for his Uncle flared, and Tidus snapped back at the elder Adasca.
"You have no right to even speak of them, you traitorous bastard. You orchestrated the pain, the suffering our people had to endure...all to serve your ultimate purpose. They may be dead, but you will be following them soon enough. I will personally see to that! You've taken EVERYTHING from me....and I fully intend on returning the favor....Uncle."
Every single system geared for combat suddenly came to life on the light scout suit....defensive, offensive, and passive alike. The visor locked the various signatures of the Harvester suit, including heat, electronic, and sonic frequencies it emitted. Now, no matter where the other man tried to hide, there would be no reprieve. It was either going to be victory, or death.....
In fact, it would be both.....it would just depend on how it turned out as to who experienced which.
With a roar, Tidus opened fire on the other suit...first, in an attempt to temporarily blind Harvester, he fired a barrage of bright, white flares, followed up immediately with a repulsor blast from both gauntlets, and a heavier shot from the chestplate. The heavy shielding of the advanced heavy battlesuit would easily withstand the blasts, but it wasn't the repulsors that Tidus was trying to connect with. In a massive burst of speed, he closed the distance, sending up a cloud of debris and dust behind him as he began his supersonic tear across the ground. Intending on returning the favor for the earlier punch, the Prince charged the repulsor to the right gauntlet's knuckles instead. He took a short hop up into the air about five feet from his target, then rapidly changed the direction of the flight system to send him back down. Driving his right fist forward, and aiming for his Uncle's face, the young man was, quite literally, trying to take the other man's head off with this punch.
Payback's a bitch, ain't it?

Crap! The look Mr. Stark gave him said it all (As if he needed another issue to worry about). He was ticked off, and Jack couldn't help be have fear in his eyes. Granted he already had that in his eyes thanks to the new power he had, but seeing Iron Man himself look like he wanted to kill the mutant didn't help matters. At least they were leaving now. The one good think in all of it. Jack cautiously got up, sliding the rubber glove back over his exposed hand. As he walked, he could hear Tony ask if Xavier was teaching hi and the others how to blow up couches. All the young mutant did was sigh nervously before finally trying to answer.
"I... I'm sorry, Mr. Stark. I shoulda said somethin' sooner, but back at Area 51, when we were headed for the tilt-rotor.... One'a the soldiers grabbed me, and.... It was.... He got weakened, and I touched somethin'. It charged without me tryin' ta do anything! Since I'd already helped Toni I thought it was a fluke, so... I... I didn't say anything." He sighed a bit as they walked out.
He looked at the choppers before hearing something. He looked out to see missile heading there way. "Ah heck!" He quickly went to run until seeing someone destroy all of them. He looked over to the Starks, pulling out a card. "Should we give'im a hand?"

"I think they're tryin' to cover us." He replied to Jack, although the question was for Toni and her Father. "So we best get while the gettin's good." And boarded the chopper along with Brenda.
It looked like this was their chance to take off.

Brenda followed Ryuu to a room as she too heard the bang, she then noticed Tony, Toni and Jack, before she could open her mouth, she heard Ryuu swear, of course she would try to keep from saying any curse words, she couldn't really blame his expression or the words that he spoke as she too was surprised, but drew a sigh of relief that it wasn't the creature that succeeded in converting her, but she was too occupied with the couch to worry about Carnage right now, she's heard of Tony, but the others were new to her.
When she heard that it was time to head on out, she was more than happy to do so, the less she remembered this place, the better. She felt herself being whisked away to the Helicopter and found her being seated, the sad part was that her father was all she had, there was no family member that she could turn too to take her in, but hopefully something will work out for her.

After a few moments time, the hurried preparations where complete and a Nurse selected to to fly with them. Tony winked at Jack and brushed the little girls head next to Ryyu. Before helping push Tony's gurney up to the roof, whispering simple nothings to her as he did so, and promises of burgers when they got to New York, if there home was even there.
After a time they ended up on the roof, and where loading almost everyone in, when Tony heard the streak of missiles, Tony was about to don his armor when the kid with the strange Alien bodyguard jumped into action with a surprising suit. Tony heard Jack ask if they should help. "This is a battle he must fight..." The tall Alien looking creature said simply before boarding the Helicopter, Tony was torn between helping anyway and protecting Tony. Happy was leaning out the door of the chopper wearing a headset. "Boss we gotta move!" He bellowed at Tony, Tony nodded and boarded the craft but not before contacting Friday. ::Friday, Send the Drones to assist that boy, and have them record the battle and upload it in real time. I wanna watch:: Suddenly from the bottom floor of the hospital all three of the MARK 32 style drones flew out and began launching repulsor blasts at the larger armored figure at the same time that the smaller figure went for his punch. They probably wouldn't last long, especially with what it did to the Mark III War-Machine but they would help the kid at least a little. And with much spinning of rotors, the helicopters lifted off and they where on there way to relative peace, Loki for his part turned on his active tracker so Tidus could eventually find them, then sat stoically in his seat, inside he was in turmoil, but on the outside he showed no emotion, much to Tony's chagrin.

So, the kid actually had some guts. They were going to look absolutely spectacular when they were spilled all over the ground in a pool of crimson.
Iosef could feel the force pooling into the boy, moreso than he actually expected. Any other time, the bastard Prince would have relied on his gadgets alone. Granted, he was charging the gauntlet repulsor systems, along with the speed enhancement system. It didn't take a genius to read a scanner, and see the energy building in various places on Tidus' armor. Therefore, when the punch came in, even though it was launched at a tremendous speed, it was easily countered. As the punch came in, the right gauntleted hand of the elder warrior moved into the path of the incoming attack. Before it could make contact, it was intercepted, and engulfed in the massive left paw of the Harvester armor, and squeezing, hard. At the same time, the right came up, and grabbed for Tidus' throat.
"Too bad, kid...you would have made a fine soldier in the Royal Guard, had I commanded it. It's a shame your mother raised you to be a weak, pathetic worm."
With a heavy squeeze in both grips to send his point home, Iosef picked the boy up as if he was nothing, slamming him back down to the ground with tremendous force. A shimmer passed over Tidus' armor.....then it disappeared. The shielding unit had been so severely damaged from the pair of ground impacts that it had completely shut down. The old man licked his lips inside the helmeted visage of the heavy battlesuit. He knew it was now his fight to end whenever he felt it was time. He squeezed as hard as he could on Tidus' right hand, and felt the bones in the boy's hand give way, and crush under the pressure. The grin spread further as Iosef could hear the boy trying not to scream out in pain.
"There's no shame in crying out for mercy, boy. You gave your best effort, and it wasn't nearly enough. Now, I will end this pathetic excuse of a life that you now lead. Goodbye, my nephew."
Releasing the grip on Tidus' shattered right hand, Iosef drew back, and the lightsaber built into the gauntlet activated, throwing an eerie red light around it. He was going to relish this more than any of the others.....this one? He was his mother's favorite....the very woman who had taken every single ounce of honor from him by giving command of the royal guard to that...that genetic freak of a Zabrak. It was no small slight....it was his right as a member of the royal family to lead the very soldiers that would protect them. However, she had seen fit to give the most prestigious position in the Arkanian military to what amounted to an outsider...a foreigner!
And now, he would close that circle...forever.
With a glorious yell of victory, the saber was sent downward to end the life of the Prince of Arkania....but it was not to be. From out of nowhere, an energy blast sent the strike wide. Iosef's eyes flew to the source of the blast, and saw one of the battlesuits that had been protecting the hospital, hovering about fifty yards away. He was about to resume his actions of killing the Prince, when another blast hit him from the other side, and then almost immediately right in the face, causing him to drop Tidus to the ground, and take a pair of steps backward. None of the bursts had the power to penetrate the shielding that the Harvester armor was using, but now? These three interlopers had to die. Tidus could wait...he wasn't going anywhere with his armor in the shape it was in now.
The systems powered up in less than a second, and Iosef's armor was in the air, and approaching the first suit that had attacked him. Scans showed it was a drone, unfortunately, but the energy weapons it contained were enough to possibly eventually overwhelm the shields if all three attacked at once. Drone one fired another burst of repulsors at the incoming attack, but the armor was able to take the burst on it's shields, and now that it was aware of the frequency of the power, it was able to absorb it, redirecting it into the flight systems...and only served to cause the venerable Harvester armor to speed up. Seeing this, the drone's AI tried to get out of the way, but it was too late. Iosef had the suit in his grip, both of the upper arms now contained in the grasp of a warrior with a lifetime of battle experience. Iosef opened his faceplate, and stared into the lifeless eyes of the armor, hoping whoever was managing the drones would see exactly who was about to take out their technology, and not even bat an eyelash. He squeezed, crushing the armor like a soda can.
"It does not matter who you send, or how many. I will accomplish my mission, and you cannot do anything to stop me!!"
With a roar, Iosef ripped his arms outward, tearing the suit in two, and turning back to it's counterparts...still holding the half husks of the Mk 32 Iron Man armor in each hand. Tossing them aside like so much rubbish, the faceplate melted shut over his face. The other two suits flew in at the same time, both valiantly trying to score a solid hit. A few punches were landed, but nothing seemed to faze the venerable elder warrior. It was almost as if he was immune to damage at this point. The second suit made to throw a punch at the head of the Harvester, and ended up catching a facefull of gauntlet palm, the helmet giving way with little effort. For good measure, the gauntlet's built in lightsaber popped, sending it straight through the middle of the empty helmet. If there -had- been a human manning the suit, and their head wasn't crushed when the helmet was, it would have pierced them right between their beady little eyes. It was a show of force, intimidation more than anything. He could easily have sliced them to ribbons with the sabers, but he was trying to send a message to whomever was trying to assist the fledgling Prince....
They stood no chance, they would be able to do NOTHING to help him. He would kill them all one by one if he had to. If the entirety of the Arkanian Royal Guard couldn't do it, these weaklings would most certainly not fare any better.
The final suit tried a last ditch effort to slow the other man down by putting every ounce of power it could into the chest unibeam repulsor, pouncing the other suit from behind, and holding it right against the other suit. However, it backfired when the shielding pushed the beam BACK, and through the chest of the suit, leaving a smoking hole when the arc reactor overloaded and exploded in a brilliant flash. This was enough to send the other suit tumbling away at a pretty good clip, causing it to crash through several buildings on his way to the ground. Due to the heavy shielding, though, Iosef was unharmed inside...at least physically. Emotionally, however, that was a different story.
Iosef was now severely pissed off.
He had been sent several blocks away from where he had left the crumpled heap that was his nephew, and perhaps time for him to get rescued. He scanned quickly, seeing that the boy had barely moved, nor was there anyone coming that he could see. With a burst from his flight repulsors, Iosef blasted off toward Tidus....intent on finishing him off.

Post by Prince Tidus Adasca on Oct 3, 2019 4:17:05 GMT
Well, he tried. He really had. He thought he could at least land one or two good hits before his Uncle would actually be able to fight back, but no....He was caught in midair, and then, a chokehold on top of it. He had channeled so much of the power in the Reaper scout suit's core to the gauntlet repulsor that it was now dangerously low. Then, the Harvester armor closed its armored fist around Tidus' own hand....and shattered it. Drawing every bit of courage he could, he let out barely a whimper...he wouldn't let his uncle know just how much that it really hurt....even though it was searing through his mind like a hot poker. He could feel the blood running from the torn blood vessels, ripped when the bones were pushed through the skin surface. His eyesight went nearly white from pain,Tidus tried to watch as best as he could as the other suits tried to engage the powerful armored warrior, managing to land a few hits in the process. It was stunningly obvious that they were outmatched, but, even as obsolete as they were in comparison, they were giving a pretty solid fight. Tidus brought himself to his feet, stumbling as he did so. When he had been slammed into the ground, he had felt his back and hips take the brunt of the impact, and it was very difficult to get to his feet, let alone walk. Even if he wanted to escape now, he wouldn't be able to. Flight system was offline, and almost every drop of power was being directed just to basic movement of the suit....allowing him to stand. While it had been delayed, Tidus still knew the truth...he would not survive this day.
"We cannot allow you to give up, nor can we allow you to perish. We will take over from here, Arkanian."
A multi-layered, creepy voice suddenly spoke inside Tidus' mind. It wasn't like anything he had ever felt before. In the past, he had been taught how to communicate through the force, but this? This was something else entirely. He didn't even know how to respond, if he would have been brutally honest.
"Draw your weapon, boy!! Release us from this crystal prison, and we shall show our gratitude."
Weapon? Crystal prison? Were they talking about his lightsaber? More importantly...who were 'they'?? Tidus decided to find out, opening the compartment containing the weapon, and pressed the emitter switch. Instead of the white blade that had come from the hilt every other time, it was now a shimmering orange with a black aura around the orange core. From every single seam in the hilt, a black ooze began to pour, and start to engulf Tidus' right hand. Here is where he began to panic, but it was too late. The black goo rapidly spread up his arm, across his chest and back, down the other arm and his legs. When it reached his head, it began to take the shape of the helmet of the armor...
....Only now, it actually had eyes....deep black eyes with a yellow pupil. The lower half of helmet began to split away into a mouth, and long, gleaming white teeth began to pop out from the top and bottom jawline...which now wrapped nearly three quarters of the way around Tidus' head. Swirls of yellow and black began to form on the outside of the armor...or whatever it had become. Whatever had talked to Tidus was apparently trapped inside his lightsaber crystal....and now it had engulfed the Arkanian Prince.
The panic had quickly subsided when Tidus had felt the energy of whatever it was that had engulfed him. It was not malevolent...at least not toward him. It had also seemingly taken the same dislike to his uncle that he had. For now? Tidus would just see where this was going.
"Wh....what ARE you?"
Tidus felt the creature grin. It had literally bonded, on a molecular level, with his armor...pretty much absorbing it into its own structure, and creating something else entirely. He looked at his hands, the orange primary color swirling with black. It was as if the entire surface of the creature was always in motion. He could feel the thoughts, the power coursing through it.....through -HIM-. They were fast becoming one.....and Tidus wasn't sure he really wanted to stop it. He -liked- how this felt...the power was unbelievable! The power core that had been in the chestplate of his armor was now at maximum, and buried deep within the chest of the alien creature that had bonded with both the armor and the Prince. It was then that he realized that there was no pain in his hand. Bringing it up to look at it, the symbiote seemed to know what he wanted to do. It rolled back from the hand, showing it was as if it was never injured....the bones were perfect, and not a single scratch could be seen.
Closing the fist, the symbiote again encased the hand in its black and yellow cocoon. Again, Tidus addressed the creature, asking it who it was. In his mind, the dark, echoing multi-layers of the symbiote's voice rang out.
"There is no 'us'. There is only 'we'. You are now a part of who we are....and we?"
The power level of the creature suddenly grew, as Tidus felt the final connection to the alien creature being made. Every synapse, every neuron in Tidus' brain was on fire, but at the same time, he had never felt better in his life. This creature? It was now a very welcome part of Prince Tidus Adasca. He could feel his Uncle approaching at high speed, but what the elder warrior would find would not be his weak, pathetic nephew. He would find something else entirely. Tidus turned and faced his uncle as the large suit of armor landed ten feet from him. No longer would Tidus be forced to bow to him. It was time to end this family feud...once and for all. His own voice now blending into the layers, he said but one phrase...partly to his Uncle....and partly answering his own question.
"We....are Neuroxis. And we? We are going to kill you where you stand."

He had nearly reached the location where he had left his shattered target, but standing in its place was....something else entirely. Scans showed that it -was- still Tidus, but it -wasn't- him at the same time. There was an unidentifiable creature 'mixed' with his nephew. Had he upgraded his armor to include Yuuhzan Vong technology? Living armor? No, even that didn't show up in the many genotypes in the massive database contained in the Harvester armor's memory banks.
What it was would matter little. Tidus just gave himself a minor cosmetic upgrade is all. It was meant to intimidate, and it had failed.
Without even acknowledging what had been said, Iosef ignited both lightsabers, and leapt at his nephew. He closed the gap in less than a second, boosted forward by the flight systems of his suit. Driving the sabers down, he aimed to put them straight through both of Tidus' shoulders....and succeeded. He could see the 'eyes' slam closed, and the mouth hung agape. The pain must have been so intense that it took the boy's breath away.
Or, so he thought.
On first glance it would look like the orange and black covered suit was run through, as the sabers drove in about halfway. Iosef's visor flipped up, and he began to laugh.....knowingly, tauntingly, and with a cold, frozen edge to it. However, when he looked to see the red blades portruding from Tidus' back, he was stunned to see NOTHING. Looking back at the front, he could see his sabers directly against the suit....but it was as if it was absorbing them at the point of impact!! There wasn't even a splash of plasma coming out. It was as if it just didn't -exist- from where it was making contact.
Then, it really went downhill.
The eyes of the orange and black suit shot open, staring into Iosef's very soul. An evil grin spread across the face of the helmet, and the teeth that filled the mouth dripped with a black, crystalline goo. With but a short backhand, the Harvester was sent flying away at tremendous velocity, and through the first floor of a nearby building. Smoke rose from where the sabers had made contact, but there was no evidence that they had even struck. The only difference was that the orange color in the suit became more intense, and the black began to swirl even more vividly.....
While he had been flying through the air, it dawned on the elder Adasca that his nephew had figured out to allow his armor to absorb lightsaber strikes, the clever lad.
He slammed through the entire first floor of a bank, and crashed out through the back wall before being able to tumble backward, and use the repulsors to stabilize himself. Where did that power come from?? He had swatted with little more than a wave, and sent a heavy powered battlesuit through solid concrete.....
What the KRIFF was that thing?? Was it a prototype?? Was it just enhancements?? Was it Sith Alchemy?? Well, whatever it was, it had to die.
Realizing that close combat was going to be useless, Iosef charged up the combat repulsors built into the gauntlets and chestpiece, targeted the orange and black menace, and fired. It was, however, the same story as the lightsabers. Where the energy struck the suit, they merely melted into it. This suit was able to absorb energy at a tremendous rate....almost past the point of possibility. How?? How had he created this in such a short time? It wasn't five minutes ago that Tidus was on the ropes, and about to go down.
Damn those drones!! If it hadn't have been for them, Tidus would be dead already!!
With a yell, Iosef doubled up the power output, and started to walk forward, blasting as hard as he could to try and at least overwhelm the other suit's absorption abilities. If he couldn't pierce it, he would damn sure try and just destroy the power core by feeding it as much as he could.

This thing was unbelievable!!
It literally took two lightsabers into the shoulders, and was able to absorb the energy so fast that they didnt even get close to penetrating the orange and black suit. Not only that, he backhanded the massive warrior away like he was nothing...a toy. Tidus could feel the pure power coursing through every fiber of his being. It was as if he was supercharged....No, it was more like he was a totally different person. Ashla be praised, the Force had seen fit to give the prince an avenue of escape from his deranged monster of an Uncle.
However, escape was not on Neuroxis' mind right now.
The energy bursts from the Harvester armor came in, and were absorbed easily. Tidus could feel that the power was just being pulled in, only serving to make this unholy union more powerful. No pain was felt, not a drop of heat, nothing. it was all being transferred to this creature's power core. From his link with its mind, Tidus knew that Neuroxis was able to absorb exorbitant amounts of power....more than the entire core of the Harvester armor could produce three times over without even breaking a sweat. Every aspect of the armor that Tidus HAD been wearing had been absorbed...defensive measures, weapons, and systems. He had no idea how, but all functions were fully charged....actually, they were far more....pretty much off the charts. The HUD was still fully functional, albeit it was like looking out of a mask. However, the proximity alerts were still active, and would show any attack from the rear.
The repulsor bursts grew more intense, and Neuroxis grinned darkly, licking his teeth. They waited until Iosef was only about 10 feet away, and suddenly leapt out of the path of the energy beams, and toward their opponent. The pounce succeeded, knocking the other man to the ground, and skidding across the blacktop with the symbiote-covered Prince of the Adascas on top of him, slashing and ripping at the armored chest with orange, glowing claws. Tidus didn't even realize that they were like shards of a lightsaber, powered by the massive inflow of power from Harvester's attack. They were cutting red, glowing lines in the armor with every slash, each one getting closer to penetrating the suit.
Suddenly, the other man threw a heavy right hand at the side of Neuroxis' head, knocking him off his perch, and sending him rolling to the ground nearby. Tidus hadn't even felt it, but the power behind the blow was enough to knock him away. Popping directly back up to his feet, the symbiote pulled back a little from the face of Tidus, exposing it to his Uncle.
"You killed all that was precious to me, because of a perceived slight to your honor. Let me tell you something....You never had true honor to begin with. It's why Loki was chosen to lead the Royal Guard, and you were not." It may have been Tidus speaking, but the voice was now still coming through as a multi-layer shadowing echo behind each word, emphasizing each phrase spoken. The 'helmet' closed back over Tidus' face, and the voice grew louder. "You think violence is the answer to everything. If it opposes you, kill it. That is NOT the Adasca way, so I will offer the mercy you would not. Surrender now, and you might live through this. Resist, and we will be forced to eliminate you.
You have your chance. We suggest you take it. Kneel before your Prince, underling!!"
The mouth of the creature curled into a snarl, and its hands began to glow a vivid, shimmering orange. If Harvester still had a HUD, the power would be literally off the scale of anything his suit could measure. Tidus knew this, he -built- the suit that he was fighting...and it was NOTHING in comparison to the symbiotic nightmare that was about to tear Iosef to pieces.

My my...how far the mighty had fallen....
Bow? To this whelp? What kind of deluded fantasy was this kid living in? Iosef Adasca bowed to NO one. It was almost as bad as what this little bastard's mother had done to him. What the hell was giving him this power, anyway? There was NOTHING that could have been designed that quickly, especially here on this backwater world...and come to think of it, nothing like it on Arkania, either. The YV were the only ones with anything even close. The cracked screen of the Harvester armor's HUD showed power readings that were far beyond its capacity to interpret. A small twinge of a very unfamiliar emotion began to creep into the mind of Iosef....
Fear.
Never in his life was he allowed to express fear. It was a sign of weakness, and any sign of weakness was quite literally beaten out of him at the first sign by his superiors. He didn't really know how to react to it, and he held motionless for a moment, stunned. Was this really how his mission was to end? Kneeling before a mere child? No, he would die before he EVER knelt before a spoiled brat like this so-called Prince. Sneering, and seeing the energy building up in the gauntlets of the other suit, the Harvester-clad elder Adasca shook his head.
"I will never bow to you. You are no Prince of -mine-!"
From out of nowhere, the active camouflage system went live, hiding the Arkanian from view. With a burst of speed, he flew backward, firing a pair of mini rockets toward his nephew. Launching into the air, he dashed right back towards Tidus, knowing that physical attacks seemed to affect whatever the hell this thing was better than projectiles. With a burst from the strength enhancement system, Iosef began to throw a series of rapid fire punches toward the head and torso of the orange and black suit, hoping to land at least one or two. He needed to see how effective they were, and perhaps develop a plan of action to turn the tide of this fight back in his favor.
He just hoped it was enough. The power core in the suit was at 50 percent, and falling rapidly with the amount of energy needed to sustain this barrage.
